On Saturday I received my Lego Mindstorms NXT robot kit and started building with it. It’s a lot of fun and my creativity is loose!
Part of me getting this NXT kit is for education, and part for content on our community site, RoboticsStudio.com.
My NeXT project is a four wheeled robot that will navigate around in our apartment, and I’m going to hook up my Windows Mobile SmartPhone to it and use it as a camera ("eyes") for the robot. The NXT kit supports Bluetooth connections and can take instructions, etc. over that channel, and of course upload new software (scripts) and resources.
